BHEL Tiruchi Complex gets new General Manager-in-charge

R. Rajamanohar has taken over as General Manager-in-charge of BHEL Tiruchi Complex comprising the High Pressure Boiler Plant and the Seamless Steel Tube Plant, Tiruchi, Power Plant Piping Unit at Thirumayam, Piping Centre at Chennai and the Industrial Valves Plant at Goindwal in Punjab.

He succeeds S. Gopinath who retired on superannuation on Wednesday.

Prior to this, Mr. Rajamanohar was General Manager, Planning and Development, Central Planning Group, Modernisation and NPCIL- Production of BHEL Tiruchi. He is a post graduate in engineering with over 35 years of experience in key areas including manufacturing, materials management, product marketing, outsourcing, modernisation, capital equipment purchase and planning and development at BHEL Tiruchi, a BHEL press release said.

An electrical and electronics engineering graduate from the Regional Engineering College (now National Institute of Technology), Tiruchi, Mr Rajamanohar (57) also holds a Masters degree in chemical engineering from the same institution. He joined BHEL, Tiruchi as an engineer trainee in 1980.
