State Health Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam has said that admission to the Government Medical College at Tiruvarur will begin from the next academic year ie 2010-11.
He inspected the construction of the hospital and college buildings at Tiruvarur on Wednesday. He asked the officials concerned to complete the construction of the hospital and other works before the end of December.
U. Mathivanan, Dairy Development Minister and M. Chandrasekaran, District Collector, accompanied the Minister during his visit.
