Trains to be regulated

Railways will regulate train services till July 16 to take up the work related to the change of girder on a bridge between Kalamassery and Aluva stations. Restrictions will be imposed on trains on Saturdays and Mondays, from June 27 to July 13. Specifically, restrictions will be in place on June 27 and 29; and on July 4, 6, 11, and 13 in the busy Ernakulam-Thrissur section.

During these days, train 56370 Ernakulam Junction-Guruvayur Passenger scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction at 6 a.m. and train 56373 Guruvayur-Thrissur Passenger scheduled to leave Guruvayur at 9 a.m. will be cancelled.

Train 16343 Amrita Express towards Palakkad, scheduled to leave at 10.30 p.m. will start from Thiruvananthapuram at 1.30 a.m. Train 22653 Nizamuddin Express, scheduled for 12.30 a.m. on Fridays will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 1.40 a.m. Train 16305 Kannur Intercity Express scheduled for 6.45 a.m. will leave Ernakulam Junction at 7.15 a.m.

Train 16347 Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru Express, Train 12695 Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Superfast Express, and Train 16630 Mangaluru-Thiruvananthapuram Central Malabar Express will be detained at Ernakulam, Kalamassery or Aluva stations for 30 minutes to one hour on these days.
