Trains cancelled, rescheduled

The Railways have rescheduled, cancelled and diverted long-distance mail and express trains in view of the Gujjar agitation at Dumariya and Bayana stations under the Kota division of West Central Railway.

Train 12283 Ernakulam–Nizamuddin Duronto Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction on May 26 has been cancelled due to the cancellation of its pairing train, according to the Railways. Train 22654 Nizamuddin–Thiruvananthapuram Express scheduled to leave Nizamuddin at 10.05 a.m. on May 25 has been cancelled.

Train 12432 Nizamuddin–Ernakulam Rajdhani Express, which left Nizamuddin on May 24, has been diverted via Bhopal Junction, Khandwa and Kalyan Junction, the Railways said.

Train 12217 Kochuveli–Chandigarh Sampark Kranthi Express, scheduled to leave Kochuveli at 9.20 a.m. on Monday was cancelled. Train 12288 Dehradun–Kochuveli Express that was to leave Dehradun at 5.50 a.m. was also cancelled in view of the stir.

Train 10216 Ernakulam–Madgaon Express from Ernakulam Junction at 1.55 p.m. on Monday was also rescheduled due to the late running of its pairing train.
