Train services to be affected on two days

Train services will be affected on May 10 and 12 on account of the work on a subway near Vallikunnu railway station.

On May 10, the work is to be taken up from 10.40 a.m. to 3.40 p.m. and on May 12 the work will be on from 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Railways have partially cancelled and regulated trains on both days.

Partial cancellation on May 10

Train 16860/16859 Mangaluru Central - Chennai Egmore - Mangaluru Central Express will be partially cancelled between Kozhikode and Palakkad Junction.

Train 16860 leaving Mangaluru Central at 6.50 a.m. will be terminated at Kozhikode and the train will then return to Mangaluru Central as Train 16859.

Similarly, Train 16859 leaving Chennai Egmore at 10.15 p.m. on May 9 will be terminated at Palakkad Junction on May 10 and this train will then return to Chennai Egmore as Train 16860 as per schedule.

Train 16605/16606 Mangaluru Central - Nagercoil Junction - Mangaluru Central Eranad Express will be partially cancelled between Mangaluru Central and Thrissur stations. Train 16606 leaving Nagercoil Junction at 2 a.m. on May 10 will be terminated at Thrissur and the train will then return to Nagercoil Junction as Train 16605 as per the schedule.

Train 56323/56324 Coimbatore- Mangaluru Central- Coimbatore Passenger will be partially cancelled between Palakkad Junction and Kozhikode stations.

Train 56323 leaving Coimbatore Junction will be terminated at Palakkad Junction and this train will return as Train 56324 to Coimbatore Junction.

Similarly, Train 56324 leaving Mangaluru Central at 7.40 a.m. on May 10 will be terminated at Kozhikode station and this train will then return to Mangaluru Central as Train 56323.

Train 12076 Thiruvananthapuram- Kozhikode Janshatabdi Express will be partially cancelled between Tirur and Kozhikode stations. Train 12076 leaving Thiruvananthapuram at 6 a.m. on May 10 will be terminated at Tirur station and then this train will return to Thiruvananthapuram Central as Train 12075.

Regulation on May 10

Train 22113 Lokmanya Tilak- Kochuveli Superfast Express leaving Lokmanya Tilak at 4.55 p.m. on May 9 will be regulated between Kadalundi and Parappanangadi stations and will arrive at Shoranur Junction 55 minutes late.

Partial cancellations on May 12

Train 12076 Thiruvananthapuram -Kozhikode Janshatabdi Express will be partially cancelled between Tirur and Kozhikode stations. Train 12076 leaving Thiruvananthapuram at 6 a.m. on May 12 will be terminated at Tirur and then this train will return to Thiruvananthapuram as Train 12075.

Train 56323/56324 Coimbatore -Mangaluru Central- Coimbatore Passenger will be partially cancelled between Palakkad Junction and Kozhikode stations. Train 56323 leaving Coimbatore Junction will be terminated at Palakkad Junction and this train will return as Train 56324 to Coimbatore Junction.

Similarly, Train 56324 leaving Mangaluru Central at 7.40 a.m. on May 12 will be terminated at Kozhikode station and this train will then return to Mangaluru Central as Train 56323.

Regulation on May 12

Train 16606 Nagercoil-Mangaluru Central Eranad Express scheduled to leave Nagercoil Junction at 2 a.m. on May 12 will be regulated at Parappanangadi station and will arrive at Mangaluru Central 75 minutes late, according to railways.

Train 16650 Nagercoil-Mangaluru Central Parasuram Express, scheduled to leave Nagercoil Junction at 4.20 a.m. on May 12, will be regulated at Tanur station and will arrive at Mangaluru Central 60 minutes late.

Train 16859 Chennai Egmore-Mangaluru Central Express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 10.15 p.m. on May 11, will be regulated at Tirur and will arrive at Mangaluru Central late by 40 minutes.
