The voltage issues faced by consumers in the district have been solved over the past one year with the installation of substations at various places and extension of 11 kV lines, KSEB deputy chief engineer P.K. Anilkumar has said. With this, the power outages due to increased usage have been solved to an extent.The opening of a 33-kV substation in Attingal gave fillip to SSIs. With the 220-kV substation in Kattakada becoming operational, power scarcity issues have been addressed.
