Science fest at Government College for Women in Trivandrum

The Department of Chemistry, Government College for Women, is organising a two-day science-cum-cultural festival from October 24 to popularise science among students and mobilise resources for their charity programme ‘Save and Serve’.

Dr. Suresh Das, Director, National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), a constituent laboratory of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), would inaugurate the event named Pradyot- 2013, a pressnote issued by the organisers said.

The programme would feature a science workshop, exhibition, science stalls, and competitions in fiction writing, quiz (general), persona, choreo-video, solo music, T-shirt painting and short film.
