The road user perception survey for the second phase of the Rs.-2,403 crore World Bank-aided Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP) was launched on Wednesday by Minister for Public Works V.K. Ebrahim Kunju.
The Minister launched the logo for the 363-km road survey to be developed in the second phase of the KSTP at a function in the capital on Wednesday. He said baseline feedback, perception of the road user facilities, and the service quality levels will be obtained by the primary and secondary road user surveys.
The survey, under which all classes of citizens will be covered, will be completed by January. Another survey will be carried out after the roads are developed under the KSTP phase II, Mr. Kunju said. The State will take up development projects, especially in the infrastructure sector, if they are socially relevant, he added.
