The Purogamana Kala Sahitya Sangham (PuKaSa) has urged the State government not to withdraw its recent order banning those in government service from holding positions in communal and religious organisations.
In a statement here on Sunday, PuKaSa State committee expressed its concern over the attempts being made by certain religious organisations to have the government withdraw the order.

The government should not give in to any pressures from outside for dropping this decision, which it had taken belatedly.
It should persuade the government employees to function in a secular manner according the spirit of the Indian Constitution and the service rules. The Ministers should become role models in this respect, PuKaSa said.
