A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), led by Superintendent of Police Rahul Nair, held discussions with City Police Commissioner H. Venkatesh and Deputy Commissioner of Police K. Sanjay Kumar Gurudin here on Saturday in connection with the case relating to the seizure of the Iranian dhow off the Kerala coast. The team arrived in the city after the Union Home Ministry decided to hand over the case to the NIA following a request by the State government. The 12 crew members were included in the FIR registered by the NIA in the case.
