Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed has said that the government is committed to ensuring power supply even if the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) incurs a huge loss by purchasing electricity at a higher cost.

Inaugurating a KSEB electrical section office at Karthikapuram here on Thursday, the Minister said the KSEB was incurring a monthly loss of Rs.200 crore. The government had also set a target of installing solar panels in additional 25,000 households, the Minister added.
