Leave it to the children — that is the motto that guides the Kerala State Child Welfare Council as it embarks on an initiative to introduce the Montessori system of education in various places in the city, starting with its own premises in the Council compound at Thycaud.

Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala inaugurated the council’s ‘Montessori House of Children’ here on Friday.

“Let us leave it to the children, let them figure out their likes and dislikes and be passionate and practical in their approach to learning,” he said.
