Having topped the ICSE level in the State two years ago, Lekshmi S. Sunil was hopeful of putting up a good show in the ISC examinations. But, never had she anticipated a third position at the national-level, even while ensuring a second position in the State.
Lekshmi, who pursued the Science stream with Computer Science in the St. Thomas Residential School, Thiruvananthapuram, credits her performance to meticulous preparation that included covering her portions on a daily basis and leaving nothing for the last minute. Her routine enabled her to progress without depending on tuitions at any stage.
She has her sights firmly set on the Civil Services. For now, she intends on pursuing engineering and has already cleared the JEE (Mains). Lekshmi is the daughter of B. Sunil, General Manager, Coirfed, and S.R. Sheeja, Assistant Professor (Economics), School of Distance Education, Kerala University.

Bringing more cheer to the State capital are the achievements of Sameera S. Prakash of St. Thomas Residential School, Gouri Prasad of Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Ashwin Arun of St. Thomas Residential School, who secured first, second and third positions respectively in the ICSE examinations in the State.
Sameera, the daughter of R. Jayaprakash, Child Psychiatrist at the SAT Hospital, and S. Sharija, Associate Professor, Forensic Medicine, Government Medical College, aims to follow the footsteps of her parents and pursue Science with Biology.
St. Thomas Residential School recorded 100% pass in both ICSE and ISC examinations, an all-time record for the school. As many as 121 out of the total 133 students secured distinction in the ISC examinations in the science stream. In the commerce stream, eight out of the 31 students secured distinction.

A total of 63 out of the 90 students who appeared for the ISC examinations from the Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School secured distinction. In the ICSE examinations, 134 students secured distinction.
Registering 100% pass in both levels, Chinmaya Vidyalaya had 60 of its students securing distinction in the ICSE examinations.
Thirty registered distinction in the ISC examinations. As many as 60 students secured distinction from Holy Angels’ ISC School, Nanthencode, in the ISC examinations.
A total of 130 students posted distinction in the ICSE examinations.
In the Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, 134 students secured distinction in the ICSE examinations. A total of 69 students registered distinction at the ISC level.
At L’ecole Chempaka, 32 attained distinction at the ISC level. As many as 80 students secured distinction in the ICSE examinations.
As many as 43 students secured distinction in the ICSE examinations from the Marion Villa Convent ISC School. Here, 10 students secured distinction in the ISC examinations.
The Trivandrum International School saw five of its nine students securing distinction in the ICSE examinations.
