The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K) has planned a one-day Internet of Things (IoT) conference at Technopark on Monday.Organised jointly with electronics incubator Maker Village, the meet would be attended by top technocrats and industry experts, including Anoop Balachandran, region manager, Connected Industry (North America) Bosch Group, Pramod Potti Krishnan, associate director, Ernst & Young, Manoj Kumar R., senior specialist, Tata Elxsi Ltd, and Jithin Krishnan, medical instrumentation wing, SCTIMST. They would share their expertise in various verticals such as industrial IoT, healthcare, mobility and security. A panel discussion, moderated by Rajeev Srinivasan, adjunct faculty, IIM(B), on the emerging trends of IoT would also be held as part of the conference, which would also have an interactive session for startups of the Maker Village to present their product ideas. There would also be an IoT Expo at the event, whichw would give startups of Maker Village an opportunity to make product demos, presentations and showcase their innovations to the technocrats and business experts and receive their feedback.
