Found adulterated, 14 brands of coconut oil banned in State

The Commissioner of Food Safety has issued orders banning the production, procurement, and distribution of 14 brands of coconut oil available in the market as these have been found to be adulterated.

The brands include Kalpa Drops coconut oil (from Tasty Foods, Malappuram), Onam coconut oil (M/s Nirmal Oil Industries, Thrissur), Amrutha Pure coconut oil (Amritha oil products, Shoranur), Kerala Coco Fresh Pure coconut oil (Venkiteswara trading company, Thrissur), A-one Supreme Agmark coconut oil (Anand oil mills, Muvattupuzha), Kera Tasty Double-filtered coconut oil (Dev Industries, Alappuzha), Tee Cee Nadapuram coconut oil (Achu traders, Palakkad), Nut Tasty coconut oil (S.A Traders, Palakkad), Cocopark coconut oil (P.K. Trading company, Malappuram), Kalpaka (Ragh) filtered pure coconut oil (Ragh Engineering solutions, Alappuzha ), Parishudhi pure coconut oil roasted and microfiltered (Alphons oil mill, Thrissur), Nariyal Gold coconut oil (Govinda traders, Thrissur), Cocofina Natural coconut oil (Amman traders, Palakkad), and Premium Quality AR coconut oil 100 per cent natural (A.M coconut industries, Kollam).
