The government has accorded sanction for the integration of salary claims of employees in the Finance Department who are drawing salary through bank accounts with the e-Kuber portal of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) from November 1.
This, a press note issued here on Saturday said, was being done on a pilot basis. The National Informatics Centre shall make necessary changes in the Treasury Information System to facilitate this. The director of treasuries shall make necessary changes to send electronic advices to the RBI relating to these payments, the press note said.
The RBI shall take necessary steps to credit the salary amount to the bank account of individual employees based on this, the press note added.
