The Centre will take all initiatives to bring Ayurvedic medicines to the mainstream of medical treatment, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J P Nadda said here on Friday.

Inaugurating an Ayurveda seminar here, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also keen on promoting this system of medicine in the country, which should be elevated as a symbol of the country’s tradition and heritage.

The Government on its part would promote and integrate all ancient medicinal systems in the country, he said.
