: Applications have been invited for the M.N. Student Award for this year.
The Rs. 25,000-award, instituted in memory of M.N. Govindan Nair, freedom fighter, Communist leader and architect of the ‘Laksham Veedu’ housing colonies, is given annually to a student from the Laksham Veedu colonies securing the highest marks in the SSLC examination.
Applications for the award should have a copy of the mark list and a certificate of residence in the Laksham Veedu colony from the Corporation/municipality/panchayat authorities concerned. The applications should reach R. Jeevakumar, Secretary, M.N. Family Foundation, Mulackal, 09, Subhash Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695008 on or before August 15. — Special Correspondent
