The Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi has selected six plays from the regional amateur drama competitions held in Kozhikode and Mavelikara for a State-level competition to be held at the akademi theatre in Thrissur from September 25.
The selected plays are Embryo by Nanma, Kozhikode; Mathi , Malayala Kalanilayam, Kannur; Bhoomiyude Avakashikal , Actors Theatre, Kochi; Section 302 Murder , Manjari Nataka Padhana Kendram, Thiruvananthapuram; Oppu , Clay Playhouse & Performing Study Centre, Malappuram; and Anna Louisinte Punyavalanmar , Magical Theatre Forum for Arts, Thrissur, academy secretary P.V. Krishnan Nair said in a release here on Saturday.
