Train services to be regulated from Jan. 30

Work on track, signalling system at Ernakulam Junction

Railways have announced regulation of trains from January 30 to February 10 to take up major modernisation work on track and signalling system at Ernakulam Junction.

Cancellation

All schedules of Ernakulam area MEMU special services and 56387/56388 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam-Kayamkulam Passengers will remain cancelled during the period, according to Railways. Train 66301 Ernakulam Junction-Kollam MEMU will remain cancelled on January 30 and February 6.

Train 66303 Ernakulam-Kollam MEMU via Alappuzha will remain cancelled on February 1 and 8. 56370 Guruvayur Passenger, 56375 Ernakulam Passenger, 56373 Thrissur Passenger and 56374 Guruvayur Passenger will not run on February 10.

Partial cancellation

Train 16313/16314 Express trains operating in the Ernakulam-Kannnur-Ernakulam sector will remain partially cancelled between Aluva and Ernakulam from January 30 to February 10.

16307/16308 Express trains running in the Alappuzha-Kannur-Alappuzha sector will remain partially cancelled between Alappuzha and Aluva during the period of work.

10215/10216 Express trains running in the Madgaon-Ernakulam-Madgaon sector on February 1 will remain partially cancelled between Aluva and Ernakulam. 66611/66612 MEMU service in the Palakkad-Ernakulam-Palakkad section will remain cancelled between Edappally and Ernakulam Junction from January 30 to February 10.

56302/56303 Passenger trains running in the Alappuzha-Ernakulam-Alappuzha section will remain cancelled between Kumbalam and Ernakulam Junction during the period of work.

Train 56380 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger via Alappuzha leaving Kayamkulam at 8.35 a.m. will remain partially cancelled between Kumbalam and Ernakulam on February 9. 56381/56382, Passenger trains between Ernakulam Junction and Kayamkulam via Alappuzha leaving Ernakulam at 10 a.m. and Kayamkulam at 1 p.m. will remain cancelled between Kumbalam and Ernakulam Junction from January 30 to February 10. 66302/66303 MEMU service between Kollam and Ernakulam via Alappuzha leaving Kollam at 8.50 a.m. and Ernakulam at 12.20 noon will remain cancelled between Kumbalam and Ernakulam Junction during the period.

66300/66301 MEMU service between Kollam and Ernakulam Junction leaving Kollam at 7.40 a.m. and Ernakulam at 2.40 p.m. will remain partially cancelled between Tripunithura and Ernakulam from January 30 to February 10.

Change in starting point

Train 16188 Ernakulam-Karaikkal Express will be originating from Ernakulam Town from January 30 to February 10.

56362 Ernakulam-Nilambur Passenger scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction at 7.20 a.m. will be originating from Ernakulam Town from January 30 to February 10.

56391 Ernakulam- Kollam Passenger, scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction at 6.30 p.m., will start from Ernakulam town from January 30 to February 9. 56389 Ernakulam-Kottayam Passenger train, scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction at 8.35 p.m. will start from Ernakulam town from January 30 to February 9.

56385, Ernakulam-Kottayam Passenger, scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction at 7.10 a.m. will be starting from Ernakulam town on February 10.

Ernakulam area

MEMU services and Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passengers will remain cancelled.
