Traffic curbs in city today

Preparations are complete for a political rally to be held by the CPI(M) at the Putharikkandom maidan on Saturday evening.

Traffic regulations will be in place in the city from 2 p.m.

Vehicles coming with rally participants from Neyyatinkara side should drop the passengers at the Nano petrol pump and park at Attakulangara Central School and Attukal parking ground. Vehicles from Kovalam-Vizhinjam side should drop the passengers at Vettimurichakotta and park in the KSRTC training centre compound in Attakulangara.

Vehicles from Nedumangad-Peroorkada side should take the Vellayambalam-Vazhuthcaud-Thycaud route, drop the passengers at Power House Road, and park at the Eenchakkal bypass road, by taking the Thakarapparambu flyover. Vehicles coming from Attingal-Kazhakuttam side should drop the passengers at Fort School and park on Eenchakkal bypass road.

Vehicles taking the MC road should drop passengers at Ayurveda College and park at SMV School and Manjalikkulam ground.

Vehicles carrying participants for the F.M. TV inaugural event at Central Stadium should park their vehicles at the parking area of the Chandrasekharan Nair stadium.
