Kannada cine and television actor and a star campaigner of the Bharatiya Janata Party Malavika Avinash said here on Tuesday that she is not happy about the BJP fielding only one woman from the State for the Lok Sabha election.

The names of seven women were before the party, she told presspersons here. She was hopeful that the party would give more chance to women in the coming elections.

She said that now the aim before the party was to make M. Narendra Modi the Prime Minister. The actor alleged that Congress leaders were using indecent words against Mr. Modi during election campaign only to cover up the failure in the administration of the United Progressive Alliance government. They were also raising the 2002 riots in Gujarat to cover up the scams of the UPA government.
