Talk on endurance cycling organised

The National Service Scheme (NSS), the Youth Red Cross (YRC), and Rotaract Club (RC) of Sri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) organised a talk on ‘endurance ultra cycling’ at Bantakal in Udupi district recently.

A press release issued by the institute here said that Narayan Nayak, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SMVITM, was the resource person for the programme.

In his address, Mr. Nayak emphasised on a number of salient points regarding cycling and ultra-cycling. He gave detailed information on facing difficult situations in long endurance cycling. He also spoke on leading a quality life by maintaining physical fitness.
