Special train via Mangaluru Junction

The Railways will operate air-conditioned special trains between Mumbai CST and Ernakulam to clear extra rush during summer vacations from April.

A release from Konkan Railway Corporation here said that Train No 01065 Mumbai CST-Ernakulam (ERS) (Weekly) AC Special will leave Mumbai CST at 8.30 p.m. on Thursdays from April 14 to June 2 to reach Ernakulan Junction at 6.50 p.m. the next day.

Train No 01066 Ernakulam-Mumbai CST will leave Ernakulam at 11.30 p.m. on Fridays from April 15 to June 3 to reach Mumbai CST at 1.20 a.m. the third day.

The commercial halts for the train are: Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Kundapur, Udupi, Mulki, Thokkur, Mangaluru Junction, Kasargod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur Junction, Thrissur, Aluva and Ernakulam Town. It will have 13 coaches.
