A parish priest and his sister travelling in a car were killed instantly after the vehicle was hit by a Puttur-bound KSRTC bus near Porlipady, 30 km from Mangalore, on Monday.
The car was going from Uppinangady and the bus hit the car head on around 10 a.m. The names of the victims are being verified. The accident affected traffic on the Mangalore- Bangalore National Highway. The Bantwal Town police have registered a case. More details are awaited.
