If that sounds exciting, head to Mangaluru which is all geared up to celebrate ‘Karavali Utsav’ that offers lessons surfing even if you are new to the sport. “If you are athletic and know swimming, you will master it in one day,” says President of Surfing Federation of India, Kishor Kumar who is offering facility.
Beginning from December 24, Wednesday, at 7.30 a.m. at Sasihitlu, Mulki about 20 km from here, it will go on till January 1. Batches of 10 enthusiasts will undergo three to four hours of training. He said that there are enough boats and surfing boards.

The ‘Kafvali Utsav’ beginning on Tuesday with a colourful procession, also offers cruise trips, kite-flying, beach volleyball, floodlight Kabaddi, coastal food festival, boat competition, besides a plethora of cultural programmes.
