Many CBSE schools record 100 p.c. results

Many CBSE schools, two Kendriya Vidyalayas and a Navodaya Vidyalaya in Dakshina Kannada recorded cent per cent results in the Class 10 examination, results of which were declared on Saturday.

Here all students passed

All the 140 students from the Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 passed the examination of which 21 students have got 10 CGPA (cumulative grade point average). A Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) is given to a student who has secured more than 95 per cent marks. All the 47 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 have passed of which 14 students have got a CGPA of 10.

Students from Navodaya School in Mudipu have done well too with an average CGPA of 8.83. Of the 83 students who passed, 19 of them have secured a CGPA of 10.

All the 173 students from Sharada Vidyaniketan passed of which 17 have secured a CGPA of 10. Twenty-four students secured CGPA between 9 and 9.8.

All the 143 students of Class 10 from the 18th batch of Sharada Vidyalaya passed, of which 46 have secured a CGPA of 10. Thirty students got a CGPA of 9, 38 got eight, and 17 got seven.

Of the 138 students from Lourdes Central School, 30 have secured a CGPA of 10. Thirty-eight have got a CGPA of nine and 39 got eight. Of the 114 students from Canara CBSE who have passed, 17 secured a CGPA of 10 while 39 secured between 9 and 9.8. Of the 97 students who have passed out from Sathya Sai Loka Seva Vidyakendra, Alike, Bantwal, 45 students have secured 10 CGPA, 31 scored nine CGPA and 21 between seven and nine CGPA.

All the 52 students from Yenepoya School passed of which eight secured 10 CGPA. Seven students got between nine and 9.8 CGPA and 16 got eight CGPA. In Manipal, Madhav Kripa School recorded 100 per cent results in the Class 10 examinations of the CBSE, whose results were announced on Saturday.

A press release issued here said that all the 102 students of Class 10 of the school had passed in the exams. As many as 17 students secured 10 CGPA, while 36 students got CPGA above 9 and below 10.
