Lifeline Express services inaugurated

Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Enterpreneurship Ananthkumar Hegde on Monday inaugurated the 186th Lifeline Express services at Kumta Railway Station in Uttara Kannada district.

On the occasion, Mr. Hegde also participated in the administration of Integrity Pledge as prescribed by the Central Vigilance Commission.

The Lifeline Express from Impact India Foundations, said to be the first of its kind in the world, would be at the Kumta station till November 19, said a release from Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd.

A team of expert doctors would provide free consultation, treatment and conduct required surgeries in various fields to deserving patients between 9 am and 4 pm on all these days. The free facility may be utilised from patients from villages of Uttara Kannada, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.
