The Meteorological Department has warned about heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated areas in Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, and Udupi districts in the next two days. The secretary to disaster management has asked all the three Deputy Commissioners to be on alert and take precautionary steps. They have been asked to keep a close watch on all vulnerable areas.
