As many as 11,696 candidates have registered for the Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority in Dakshina Kannada on May 12 and 13. The test will be conducted in 22 centres. Of them 11 centres will be in the city, three at Puttur, six in Moodbidri and two in Ujire.

Talk on Ramana Maharshi

Sujaya Chaitanya, acharya, Chinmaya Mission, Mangaluru will deliver a series of talks in English on ‘essence of Ramana Maharshi’s teachings’ at Subrahmanya Sabha, Karangalpady from May 11 to 17. The timing is between 6.30 p.m. and 8 p.m., a release said.

Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru, is one among the venues for COMEDK UGET 2015 examination conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka on May 10. There will be two centres in the college and 1,488 candidates have registered to appear at the centres.
