Siddhanth Nayak, who represented TVS Racing team from Bangalore, stood sixth in the Foreign Motorcycles up to 250 CC race. People had gathered in good numbers to watch the event organised jointly by Sportscraft Mumbai in association with Mangalore Motor Sports Association. “Compared to other venues, this track is short. But we have made best use of the available space,” Srikant Karani, president of Sportscraft, told The Hindu .

It was a challenge for motorists to perform in the sunny and humid conditions. Motorcyclists were seen dabbing water on them before the race to keep them cool. “It takes a lot to perform here. Unless you have warmed up its difficult to perform in these conditions,” said Madhu S. from Bangalore.
