Members of the All College Students’ Association held a day-long fast on Saturday demanding an expeditious inquiry into the death of a 20-year-old girl, Akshatha, in Mulihitlu two months ago.
Rakshit S Poojary, the president of the association, said the police did not search for a friend with whom the girl was seen a few days before her body was found. He demanded the police to trace the boy and get to the bottom of the issue.
