Jet Airways suspends direct daily flight service from Mangaluru to Sharjah

Five months after introducing A direct daily flight between Mangaluru and Sharjah, Jet Airways suspended operations from Sunday, according to sources. Confirming this, J.T. Radhakrishna, Director, Mangaluru International Airport, quoted Jet Airways as saying, that it was due to “operational reasons”. The sources told The Hindu that the service has been suspended due to poor passenger traffic. Now, the airlines has decided to deploy the same flight, a Boeing 737, to operate between Mangaluru and Delhi on a daily basis from January 16, the sources added.
