Train to be extended to Tirunelveli

The 11017/11018 Dadar-Yesvantpur Chalukya Express will be extended to Tirunelveli on three days a week from Thursday. The train will be flagged off at Tirunelveli at 2.45 p.m. on November 8.

From Saturday

The extended service will commence at Dadar on November 10. According to a press release from Ajai Kant Rastogi, Divisional Railway Manager, the train will be operated in the following timings:

The 11022 Tirunelveli-Dadar tri-weekly express will leave Tirunelveli on Monday, Thursday and Friday at 2.45 p.m. and reach Dadar at 5.50 a.m., the next day.

The 11021 Dadar-Tirunelveli tri-weekly express will leave Dadar on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9.30 p.m. and then reach Tirunelveli at 11.45 a.m., the next day.

The trains will have 17 coaches – one air-conditioned two-tier, two air-conditioned three tier, nine sleeper class, three general second class, one luggage van and one luggage-cum coach for the disabled.

Stoppages

The stoppages will be at Vanchi Maniyachi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, Hosur, Banaswadi, Yeswantpur, Tumkur, Tiptur, Arsikere, Kadur, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, Ranibennur, Haveri, Hubli, Dharwar, Alnavar, Londa, Belgaum, Ghatprabha, Kudachi, Miraj, Sangli, Takari, Karad, Pune, Lonavala, Karjat and Kalyan.

The train Tirunelveli-Dadar express will not stop at Karjat.
