Features of studying at Wintec highlighted at interactive session

A little over 70 per cent of students studying in New Zealand, upon graduation, is finding jobs there and 80 per cent of the employers in New Zealand rated their migrant employees as good or very good.

This was informed to students' during an interactive session addressed by Robyn McCollum, Marketing Manager, Wintec – Waikato Institute of Technology, (A New Zealand government owned institution), Hamilton, New Zealand.

According to a press release, she highlighted the features of studying at Wintec, which was one of the largest institutes of technology/polytechnics in New Zealand. She further said that the institute had been providing high quality, vocational and professional education.

The large presence of international students in the Wintec itself reflected the high standards of education. Many students from Madurai and southern districts were pursuing various educational courses in the institute.

A. Aladi Arun, Chief Executive Officer of A.K. Consultants, Madurai, who is the authorised representative of Wintec, mentioned that they provided services which include assisting students in choosing the courses, admissions, bank loans, visa processing, travel and among others.
