Selection for admission to sports hostels to be held from May 8

District-level selection for admission to sports hostels at various places in the State will be held from May 8 to May 10.

The selected students will be admitted to Classes 7 to 11 at the sports hostel where they will be trained on various sports and games.

The selected students will be provided training, accommodation and nutritious food.

The hostels for boys are at Madurai, Tiruchi, Tirunelveli, Krishnagiri, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Thanjavur, Ariyalur, Thoothukudi, Sivaganga, Theni, Ramanathapuram, Utacamund, Villupuram, Chennai, Neyveli and Namakkal.

The hostels for girls are at Erode, Tiruvannamalai, Namakkal, Dindigul, Nagerclil, Perambalur, Theni, Pudukottai, Dharmapuri and Chennai.

Students who have won at district, State and national levels will be given preference. Application for the selection should be done by 5 p.m. on May 7 on
