Rural Development Minister directs officials to speed up pending works

Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development, Law, Courts and Prisons K.P. Munusamy presided over a regional-level review meeting at the Collectorate here on Wednesday to take stock of the progress made by officials concerned in implementing various schemes in Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, Sivanganga and Pudukottai districts.

He directed the officials to speed up the pending works and fixed deadlines for each district.

Cooperation Minister ‘Sellur’ K. Raju, Collector L. Subramanian and a majority of the Members of the Legislative Assembly from Madurai participated in the review meeting.
