Police Commemoration Day celebrated

As part of the Police Commemoration Day, top police officials in the district paid respects to the martyrs in the uniformed services, who had laid down their lives during the call of the duty, here on Wednesday.

Inspector General of Police (South Zone) Abhay Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Police Sanjay Mathur, Superintendent of Police Vijayendra Bidari and officials of other ranks also paid their respects at a makeshift memorial at the Armed Reserve Grounds here.

A total of 645 persons from the uniformed services had sacrificed their lives in the last one year.
