Madurai Corporation allocates Rs.50 lakh for Ring Road repairs

The Madurai Corporation is spending Rs.50 lakh to carry out repairs to the Ring Road.

Mayor V.V. Rajan Chellappa, along with Corporation Commissioner R. Nanthagopal and senior engineers, inspected the work on Wednesday.

According to a press release from the civic body, repair works are being done for the convenience of commuters and the general public. The required fund has been allocated based on estimates prepared by the engineering team.

A. Mathuram, City Engineer in-charge, and other officials accompanied the team.

Meanwhile, the Corporation took up works under the Azhagiya Madurai Maanagara Thittam (AMMA) to provide basic amenities at New Jail Road, Lourdh Nagar, Balarangapuram and Sundararajapuram.
