Counselling for MKU students today

The counselling for students who have applied for post-graduate courses offered by various schools and departments of Madurai Kamaraj University will happen on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Preview Theatre on the campus.

The counselling is applicable for courses for which admissions are not conducted through entrance examination. Those who have applied for the courses already can present themselves with original certificates, photocopies, and passport size photographs for the admission. The selected candidates will be admitted on the same day by 3 p.m. once they pay the tuition and other fees as mentioned in the course prospectus.

A statement issued by the university said that wait-listed candidates will be admitted if there were vacancies at 4.30 p.m. According to the statement, students who had not applied before can also appear for on-the-spot admissions. There applications will be entertained based on the vacancy status for courses at 4.45 p.m.

Apart from this, the counselling process for admission to undergraduate courses in MKU’s four constituent colleges in Aruppukkottai, Tirumangalam, Sattur, and Vedasandur will happen for two days on Monday and Tuesday. For these four colleges, the second round of counselling for wait-listed candidates will happen on May 20, and 21, 2019.
