Case against Jamath leader

A petition has been filed in the Madras High Court Bench here seeking a direction to the Tenkasi police in Tirunelveli district to register a case against Tamil Nadu Towheed Jamath leader M.S. Sulaiman for allegedly speaking against saluting the national tricolour.

Justice C.T. Selvam directed the police to register a case if the complainant, K. Selvam, an advocate, had made out a cognisable offence against the proposed accused and to report to the court within a week. The complainant had accused the Jamath leader of misguiding the youth.
