Bull runs amok; three hurt

A jallikattu bull rampages on Sunday evening.

Three persons were injured when a ‘jallikattu’ bull, let loose on a city road, went on an attacking spree on Sunday evening.

The injured were identified as P. Petchiammal (65) of Usilampatti, V. Marimuthu of Mathichiyam, and M. Vogeshwari (21) of Karumbalai. The bull ran amok on the road near the Aavin junction on Sivaganga Road.

While the woman sustained injuries on their head and shoulder after they fell down, the man was gored on his leg. All the three have been admitted to Government Rajaji Hospital. Police said that the bull could not be traced.
