Audi showroom in Madurai

German luxury car manufacturer Audi opened its first showroom on Madurai-Dindigul Highway here on Thursday. The facility, which was inaugurated by Joe King, Head of Audi India, and Ananda Krishnan, Managing Director, Audi Madurai and Audi Coimbatore, is spread over 44,000 square feet and has a service workshop and showroom under the same roof. “Keeping with the company’s objective of offering top quality service to our customers, we have a service workshop spread over 10,200 square feet and a capacity to serve 12 cars per day in a single shift. There has been a profitable growth in the State and this is our third showroom in the State after Chennai and Coimbatore,” Mr. Joe King said.

Speaking about Audi’s presence in the State, Mr. Ananda Krishnan said that the showroom in Coimbatore had sold over 700 cars in the last three years with more than 150 of them being bought by customers from Madurai. “We have strategically located the store on the Madurai-Dindigul Highway as we expect more prospective customers from the southern districts which include Tirunelveli, Dindigul and Tuticorin. The Audi A3 and Audi Q3 models are very popular among customers in the south,” he said.

Actress Taapsee Pannu unveiled the Audi TT Coupe car during the event. The car is priced at Rs. 62.23 lakh.
