Elaborate arrangements have been made ahead of the Babri Masjid demolition anniversary on December 6, the police said here on Wednesday. There is no specific threat but the police would be positioned at vantage locations, said Inspector General and Commissioner of Police (Madurai City) Sanjay Mathur.

All vital installations, key places of worship and among others would be provided with police personnel. The BDDS teams are positioned at select locations to ensure that no objectionable item was carried by any miscreant. The Madurai District Superintendent of Police V.
