Two youths were killed early on Sunday after the motorcycle on which they were travelling collided with a container truck parked along the Seaport-Airport Road.
Traffic police identified the deceased as Shefin, 21, a resident of Karimugal and Sreekutty, 20, a native of Mulavukadu.
The accident happened around 4 a.m. while they were negotiating a curve at Poojari Valavu.

They were declared brought dead at the hospital. Their motorcycle was completely damaged in the impact of the accident.
Shefin was an employee with a private company at Karimugal and Sreekutty was a professional dancer. A case has been registered.
