The Aluva East police have taken a person into custody on the charge of swindling money from a finance company.
The person has been identified as Mithun Shashi from Karukutty, said a press release here. It was alleged that Mithun swindled ₹63 lakh from the gold finance company over the past three years, the press release said.
He allegedly used the money to lead a life of luxury and acquire wealth in various forms.
