Adolfus, and six others, had entered into a criminal conspiracy and charged ₹19.5 lakh as service charge from nursing recruits instead of ₹19,500 recommended by the Ministry of Overseas Affairs.
Investigations revealed that Uthuppu and his company had collected ₹117 crore from 1,291 persons recruited to the Ministry of Health, Kuwait, between December 29, 2014, and March 25, 2015.
