A 72-year-old person was killed when the car he was driving collided with a private bus near Kothamangalam on Wednesday evening. The deceased was identified as T.G. Antony, a native of Thodupuzha. The accident took place around 4 p.m. when the car hit the bus while negotiating a curve on the Kothamangalam-Varappetty stretch. Though Antony was rushed to hospital, he succumbed to his injuries later.
