Infopark attracts investment under PPP model

The development of the second phase of Infopark has attracted investment proposals under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

Infopark CEO Hrishikesh Nair said that Infopark has been leading from the front in attracting IT investments thus playing a prominent role in propelling the State to one of the best IT investment destinations. He said that more deals will be inked before the end of this year.

Kochi-based infrastructure developer Padiyath Innovation has signed a deal with Infopark to invest Rs 320 crore for the construction of one million sqft of intelligent IT infrastructure in multiple phases.

The Padiyath Innovation is a joint venture between  Harry & More Consulting Private Limited and its sister concern Sunrise Institute of Medical Sciences. 

The new facility is expected to provide direct employment to 7,000 IT professionals and to nearly 3,000 people in facility management and other support services

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed between Mr. Nair and Padiyath Innovation World Private Limited Chairman Harish Rahman Padiyath in the presence of Industries & IT minister P K Kunhalikutty. The facility will come up on nearly 4.11 acres.
