IMA opens women’s health programme

Ammayude Aarogyam (CARE), an initiative of the Indian Medical Association, Kerala branch, addressing women’s health issues, was inaugurated here on Wednesday along with the annual meeting of WIMA, the women’s wing of the IMA.

State president of IMA, Dr. K. E. Ummer, inaugurated the programme at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.

Vice president of IMA Central Kerala, Dr. M. N. Menon, released the logo of the Ammayude Arogyam programme.

Dr. Beena K.V., IMA Central Kerala co-ordinator, and other office bearers of WIMA and IMA spoke.

A continuous medical education programme was conducted on the occasion.
